Sweet Treat Obsession Refund Policy

 

At Sweet Treat Obsession, all products are made to order and many are custom-made specifically for your event, theme, or requested details. Because of the time, planning, and perishable nature of our products, all sales are final unless otherwise stated below.


Order Payments
A non-refundable retainer or full payment may be required to secure your order date, depending on the type of order. Orders are not confirmed until payment has been received and accepted.

 


Final payments must be made by the stated deadline. If payment is not made on time, Sweet Treat Obsession reserves the right to cancel the order and release the date without refund of any retainer already paid.


Standard Orders

Standard menu items are made to order and are non-refundable once prepared.


Custom Orders

Custom orders, including themed treats, specialty colors, edible images, toppers, logos, dessert tables, or personalized items, are non-refundable once booked and/or once work has begun. This includes cancellations due to change of mind, event changes, guest count changes, or no longer needing the order.


Cancellations

If you choose to cancel your order, any non-refundable retainer paid will not be refunded.

If a cancellation is made before supplies are purchased and before work begins, any payment made beyond the non-refundable retainer may be issued as store credit at Sweet Treat Obsession’s discretion. Store credit is not guaranteed.


Rescheduling

One reschedule may be allowed if requested with reasonable notice and if the new date is available. Rescheduling is not guaranteed. If the requested new date is unavailable, the order will be treated as a cancellation.


Pickup Responsibility

Once an order has been picked up, delivered, or placed in an approved contactless pickup location, it is considered accepted. Sweet Treat Obsession is not responsible for damage, melting, shifting, breakage, quality loss, or other issues caused after pickup due to transport, weather, storage conditions, handling, or failure to follow care instructions.


Contactless Pickup

If contactless pickup is selected or approved, the customer assumes responsibility for the order once it has been placed at the agreed pickup location and the customer has been notified. Orders must be retrieved promptly during the scheduled pickup window.


Quality Concerns

If you believe there is an issue with your order due to an error on our part, you must contact Sweet Treat Obsession on the same day as pickup with clear photos of:

the product

the packaging

the issue in question

any relevant order details


Product Review and Return Requirement

Sweet Treat Obsession reserves the right to require that the product and original packaging be returned for inspection before any refund, replacement, or store credit is approved.

If the product is mostly or fully consumed, discarded, tampered with, altered, or unavailable for review when requested, Sweet Treat Obsession reserves the right to deny the refund request.


Refund Approval

Approved refunds, partial refunds, replacements, or store credits are issued solely at the discretion of Sweet Treat Obsession and only when an error made by Sweet Treat Obsession is verified.


Refunds will not be issued for:

change of mind

failure to read item descriptions or policies

minor variations in color, decoration, or design style

flavor or texture preferences

damage after pickup

failure to properly transport or store products

failure to disclose allergies or dietary concerns

late pickup or missed pickup

products not returned for inspection when requested
